The Starry Night Auction will take place in person this year! Join us Saturday, March 18th at 5:30pm at The David Brower Center in Downtown Berkeley.
Starry Night raises over $50,000 for BAM to support all of the programs that help BAM students to thrive––arts enrichment, PE, science, gardening, math & literacy support, as well as library replenishment and technology upgrades. Please consider donating items (sports tickets, vacation homes, unopened toys or merchandise, or your expertise (music, professional services, lessons, tour of a fascinating workplace) as an auction item. You can also team up and provide services with other BAM families! All donated items should be in new condition. Our favorite merchants are also sending in their donated items. We are asking that all donations be delivered to the PTA safe in the BAM office by Wednesday, March 1st at the latest to be included in the catalog.
All proceeds benefit: Berkeley Arts Magnet Elementary School PTA / 2015 Virginia Street, Berkeley, CA 94709 / 510-644-6225 / Tax ID: 94-6174776
Ready. Set. Read! The BAM Readathon is a great way to encourage our students to develop a lifelong love of reading while raising money to support our school. BAM PTA fundraisers help support programs for our students, supplies for our teachers, and community building initiatives. Students will read as much as they can for 14 days and keep track of how many total minutes they read (for younger students being read to counts). Students will then collect pledges and submit pledge forms to their teacher or the box in the main office. You can download the pledge form pledge form here (please make checks payable to Berkeley Arts Magnet PTA, not BAM PTA). You can also donate online using the button below.
Runathon is a fun way for our students to help their school while being outside and exercising. Please see the pledge form here (please make checks payable to Berkeley Arts Magnet PTA, not BAM PTA). You can also donate online using the button below.
Spring Festival celebrates the arrival of spring with multi-cultural music, food, and fun activities. This event is hosted by the PTA Asian American Affairs, African American Affairs, and Latin American Affairs.

BAM Jam Fall Carnival is many kids’ favorite event with carnival games, food, music, face painting, dunk tank, and treats!
Monthly Community Gatherings are held every month with food and themes for the whole family to enjoy – family art night, craft fair, game nights, literacy night, math night, multicultural potlucks are just some examples.
Back to School Night is held at the beginning of the school year and is your opportunity to meet your student’s teacher, receive important information and to ask questions.
