Questions? Email readathon@berkeleyartsmagnet.org
Q: My student's teacher assigns daily reading as part of their curriculum. Does this count for the readathon?
A: YES! Any and all reading counts.
Q: How do I find my student's fundraising page?
A: If you have your email registerred in the directory, you should have recieved a welcome email to your student's fundraising page. Check out our fundraising page at 99pledges.com/fund/2026BAMReads. Use the 'Search for Participant' field to find their individual page. If you can't find it, or didn't get the welcome email, reach out to readathon@berkeleyartsmagnet.org for help.
Q: What are the Challenge Badges?
A: There are four total Challenge Badges for this year's Readathon. Each badge contains four reading related activities to complete. If your student complete's the tasks before the Friday of the week, they can bring the Badge in to be collected. 10 winners will be pulled randomly that day, and awarded $10 gift certificates!
Q: What if my student loses their Readathon Map? Can they still report their minutes read?
A: Yes! There are two components to tracking minutes this year. The first is for fundraising - some students like to have their sponsors donate a certain amount per minute read. To do this, they would enter their minutes (with your help!) on their 99pledges page. Additionally, for students who read and track the number of minutes for their grade (see the main Readathon page), and report it, they will be entered in our final raffle for 20 of the $10 gift certificates. If they lose their map, they can track their minutes, and then report them using this form: tinyurl.com/2026ReadathonMinutes
